Feb 1, 2023 · I had exactly the same, stuck at 4kb/0% of download. I closed the sim down, went to MS Store library, clicked on Open at the sim library entry, that took me to the XBox app and I downloaded from there no problem.

Nov 14, 2022 · I have a similar problem except when I launch MSFS I get the “launching game” screen and that “may take a while.” This is on a brand new install of windows 11, all drivers updated, brand new install of MSFS. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled MSFS 3 times now, and nothing, it will sit there on the “launching game” screen all day.

Apr 19, 2022 · Hi, I have played MSFS for decades and finally bought this latest iteration. I have a nice windows gaming box from IBUYPOWER. QUESTION: Will i get better performance and graphics from a disk install or playing through GAME PASS? You can tell i am not sure how this works. I am on a one dollar trial for a month and cannot play first person shooter games, so MSFS will be my main favorites. Any ideas?

Oct 18, 2024 · Flight stick (joystick) at the least, Desk mount for the joystick, probably, Pedals, maybe; Throttle, maybe; Technically, the mouse/keyboard combo could work, but then so would Microsoft’s minimum hardware requirements. Xbox, and other game controllers should be an improvement. But if you are serious, you need a good joystick.
