Airpods 1st gen.. How long does the battery last?
Apr 21, 2020 · BUT I really noticed battery life in the ear pods really suffered. By Fall, especially early 2020, I only had about 45-50 min music playback (Once one pod dropped to 18-20%, I'd "quick charge", the Pod jumped back up to 93-95% - repeat process for the other pod - then I'd get another 40 min of playback.

Jan 18, 2020 · The best way to test this is to wait until one of the Airpods charge to 100% (even if the other shows 50%, 40& or whatever), & then test them for a long time until you hear the flat battery tone - if they work for 4.5 hours, then you have proof the battery reading is incorrect. Incorrect readings are what is happening to me & others on this forum.
AirPods battery life less than one hour on charge
Aug 9, 2018 · I've had my AirPods since release in December 2016. Battery life until recently, had been as advertised with no problems. Recently, I'm getting under an hour of use of the pods on a single charge. The left one drains particularly faster. How is your battery life? The case also seems to drain faster than usual as well.

Oct 25, 2020 · Since the AirPods Pro have been out for a full 365 days, and I've been using them every single day since launch, I was curious how the remaining battery life is (since my first-generation AirPods had extreme battery drainage after a year). Out of my tests, the AirPods Pro still function almost as new! During testing, music was continuously playing.

Sep 20, 2024 · The case lid does feel a little cheaper when closing than the OG Airpods for sure. Apple definitely saved some $ there. But overall I would recommend these over the Airpods Pro unless you specifically want the rubber tips. If you liked the original AirPods at all, and your ears fit the profile, these are fantastic. I give em a 9/10.

Airpods battery life is messed up after only a year
Dec 14, 2018 · AirPods battery degrades fast! After 1.5 years, mine took a more noticeable dive in battery only lasting about an hour or two of audio, and under an hour on call... Its the weakest part of them imo i think without offering AppleCare or anything, its part of Apple's plan to get you to buy a new pair every or every other year
AirPods case bad standby battery life | MacRumors Forums
Dec 20, 2016 · AirPods case is at 100% and AirPods is also at 100% but shows a charging indicator, this kind of makes me think its the AirPods that have poor standby time. Now, it didn't lose battery like it did last time (went 100-90 in the same amount of time), so it may just be a fluke, but I'll keep checking every now and then to see what's actually happening
