KC K. Created on November 10, 2022. Your account is set to close on.... I recently got an email from Microsoft stating "Your account is scheduled to be closed on 1/9/2023 due to account inactivity." A screenshot of the email will be attached. I've been using my account these past few months and am confused why I got this email.

You might want to consider adding an Outlook.com alias address to your Microsoft Account since there really is no value/benefit to having a Gmail address as your login to the account - whether deleted or not.

Jun 29, 2013 · I simply need someone to unlock the account in their tool called WUE and reactivate the account. My passport is still working with this email as credentials (Xbox live, Skype, account login), only my email is closed. I had reset my password prior to the issue appearing, so I guess this had something to do with it.
