Are all Harman pellet stoves good or are some better than others?

The P-68 has a higher available BTU rating but you pay for that with an 8 pound per hour appetite for pellets. The XXV is a little harder to work on but much prettier. Either one is a great stove.

WEBDec 7, 2012 · FAIL Step 2- Took apart top auger to clean out any clogging in it. The bearings seemed fine. Put it back together tested: FAIL Step 3- Checked on vacuum hoses, they seem fine so I unplugged the wire from the vacuum switch and bridged the wires together with an auto fuse to bypass the switch.

WEBJan 27, 2014 · Of course we use the cental heat when needed, but has driven the heat cost from $5200/year to +-$2500, including pellets. The stove is built like a tank. It'll burn anything, minimal cleaning, real good heat. Maybe next year, in my fourth year I'll have a complaint but not yet. Englander 10-CPM installed 11 10 11.

With a pellet stove (unlike a wood stove), very little cast iron actually heats up, it's mostly in the heat exchanger and the surfaces around the heat exchanger. So it's pretty much all about looks. That's why we have it, and the heat helps a little too.
