Each vehicle can generate enough solar power for up to 40 miles of free daily driving. Plus, with Aptera's Launch Edition vehicle, you can travel up to 400 miles on a single charge. The average American drives less than 30 miles per day, so most Aptera owners will never have to plug their vehicle in to charge.

In optimal sunny locations, our solar can generate over 10,000 miles of driving per year, with over 1,000 miles per month in summer. Based on 10,000 miles of solar driving per year, compared to a 30 MPG gas vehicle at $4.50 per gallon, you can save $1,500 per year, and $7,500 over 5 years.
