This ship is the second Section 31 starship to appear on screen, following the USS Vengeance in Star Trek Into Darkness. The bridge of the NCIA-93 is a heavy redress of the USS Shenzhou bridge. In the 2250s decade, capital Section 31 stealth ships shared a design lineage that was based on the smaller intel science destroyer. Apart from a size difference, the S31 ship classes shared the design for warp nacelles, nacelle pylons, bridge module and deflector dish.

The USS Vengeance was a 23rd century Federation Dreadnought-class starship operated in secret by Starfleet via Section 31. Unlike other ships owned by the Federation and operated by Starfleet, it was created specifically for combat and was completely unmarked, with no registry number or nomenclature visible on the hull.

Jan 26, 2025 · It’s interesting that both creative teams landed on asymmetrically offset bridge modules (shades of the Millennium Falcon perhaps?), even though they are on different ends of the ship respectively. And the geometric structure with ribbed texture on the underside is probably supposed to remind of cargo containers.

When the safe house is sabotaged and their ship is destroyed, the Section 31 team believes the masked man was tipped off by one of their own. Zeph disappears and the others suspect him of being the mole, but they find him dead and evidence implicates Garrett as the killer.

Jan 15, 2019 · A whole new set hasn't been mentioned AFAIK - although this one could well be pulling double duty, being both a S31 hub (or two S31 hubs, alternating as Bridge and Lab) and a NCC-1031 engineering pit of some sort, with appropriate redecoration.
