Are all Harman pellet stoves good or are some better than others?

The P-68 has a higher available BTU rating but you pay for that with an 8 pound per hour appetite for pellets. The XXV is a little harder to work on but much prettier. Either one is a great stove.

Harman, Enviro, Travis Industries (Lopi and Avalon), Quadrafire, St Croix, Regency (Enviro clones) and VistaFlame (Enviro clones) Middle of the road and possible some money saved. Lots of people have good luck with them.

I use the Silicone on the stove adapter and High temp foil tape on joints. I also siliconed the Clean-out T factory joint, but it was not leaking.

WEBMar 5, 2017 · After doing lots of on-line research, I'm still struggling to decide on a pellet stove, and yes, it's the age-old question of Harman vs. Quadrafire. I've seen this described as the same as a "Ford vs. Chevy" debate, but nevertheless I'd value some input. The stove will be going into our 1100 sq ft. seasonal cottage in New Hampshire.

WEBOct 11, 2011 · All good reliable units, I do feel Enviro for the money spent (with Quad and Harman, thats the rub for most folks) is the best value out there. The Whitfield 2T (the most copied stove ever) is probably the most bullet proof, will not die stove. There are many good stoves out there folks, Its personal preference most of the time.
