Nov 5, 2022 · As for BYD, the 60 kwh battery is certainly LFP. But it comes in 126s1p form factor, using "blade" LFP cells (prismatic, but thin and very long). There are no "modules" in the BYD Blade LFP battery. So while technically you can separate the cells, 126 doesn't divide equally to 16s or 15s packs, so you will waste some cells.
