Dhanush has filed a case against Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, and two others over the unauthorised use of clips from his film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the docu-series Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.

Following the open letter and controversy surrounding the documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale, actor Dhanush has finally launched a civil lawsuit against the actress and her husband Vignesh Shivan.

The duo's fight is far from over as the actor's Wunderbar Films Private Limited has sued Nayanthara and her director-husband Vignesh Shivan, her Rowdy Pictures Private Limited, and two others for using visuals from his movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in a Netflix documentary titled Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.
