New rideshare driver rates go into effect in Minnesota
While the minimum rate is lower than those initially passed by Minneapolis City Council and those proposed in the Minnesota Legislature by Sen. Omar Fateh and Rep. Hodan Hassan, it still represents a 20% pay increase for rideshare drivers.
New minimum pay kicks in for Minnesota rideshare drivers
Uber and Lyft drivers pushed nearly two years for better wages. An Uber spokeswoman said riders may see a price increase as high as 25%.
