Luis Suarez and Inter Miami have agreed on a one-year contract extension for the coming season, the team announced Wednesday.

Suarez signed with Inter Miami last winter, and there was concern that his history of knee pain would limit his playing time. He put those worries to rest, playing in 37 matches across all competitions in, including 27 in regular season play. He played a critical leadership role during the two months Messi was out injured.
