Edey dealt with a nagging ankle injury in summer league play this summer. He premiered on July 8 and had a nice start, scoring 14 points along with 15 rebounds and four blocks. However, he tweaked his ankle and missed time before again playing ten days later on July 18.

Get used to Ja Morant lobbing passes to Zach Edey, Memphis. The former Purdue superstar already looks comfortable with the Grizzlies.

The Dallas Mavericks host the Memphis Grizzlies in the opening game of their short preseason slate. Not a ton of regular rotation players will be getting minutes, but it will be nice to see the Mavericks on our television or computers all the same.
