Almost three months have passed since BioWare finally saw the long-awaited release of its new RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a decade-long project led by game director Corinne Busche.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard director Corinne Busche is reportedly leaving EA-owned BioWare. Eurogamer reported that Busche, who was game director on Dragon Age: The Veilguard from February 2022 to its launch last year, is set to leave the studio in the coming weeks. IGN has asked EA for comment.

Even so, it’s clear that the Game Director Corinne Busch is ready to move on from the project and from EA altogether, as she has officially confirmed that she will be leaving the company. As of now, no additional departures from BioWare have been announced, and this doesn’t appear to be part of a wider staffing change.

Though Busche leaves behind an 18-year career at EA, BioWare is reportedly otherwise unaffected. It’s been a handful of months since Dragon Age: The Veilguard came out, but it sounds like one of its leads is ready to move on to something new.
