Second Devon and Cornwall police chief suspended
Alison Hernandez, Devon and Cornwall’s police and crime commissioner, has suspended Jim Colwell pending an investigation into alleged breaches of professional standards. Mr Colwell was leading the force in place of Will Kerr, the chief constable, who was himself suspended in July last year following “serious allegations of sexual offences”.
