Gunfire in Brother Bryan Park on Birmingham’s Southside leaves 1 dead
Shots rang out in a park on Birmingham’s Southside late Wednesday, leaving one man dead. South Precinct officers responded about 10:40 p.m. to a call of gunfire and people running in Brother Bryan Park on Magnolia Avenue.
Man shot to death in Birmingham’s Brother Bryan Park
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT) — A man was shot dead in Brother Bryan Park in Birmingham Wednesday night. The victim, who has not been identified, was found shot at 10:42 a.m. at the park, located in the 2100 block of Magnolia Avenue South. By 11:03 p.m., he was pronounced dead.
1 dead after late night shooting at park in Five Points South
Birmingham police are now trying to find the person responsible for a deadly shooting in the Five Points South neighborhood on Wednesday. Investigators say they found one man shot and lying on the ground at Brother Bryan Park around 10:40 p.m. Birmingham Fire and Rescue crews confirmed his death shortly afterwards.

Officers with the Birmingham Police Department responded to a shots fired call at approximately 10:40 p.m. Wednesday night at Brother Bryan Park in the 2100 block of Magnolia Avenue South. Once on the scene, authorities found 27-year-old Tyrone Dewayne Hendrix lying unresponsive in the park with an apparent gunshot wound.
