After watching the San Francisco 49ers weather adversity after adversity in 2024, the team has been met with their toughest challenge yet, with Brock Purdy officially ruled out for Week 12 with a shoulder injury and Brandon Allen set to take his place under center.

Brandon Allen was a three-year starter at Arkansas and led the Razorbacks to bowl victories in his redshirt junior and senior seasons. Former Wisconsin Badgers head coach Bret Bielema coached Allen in the quarterback's final three years at Arkansas.
