Taiwan Semiconductor's (NYSE:TSM) stock rose about 5% premarket on Thursday after fourth quarter results beat estimates and the global foundry noting that it expects growth in AI-related demand in the first quarter of 2025.

On January 16, 2025, Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) reported its further quarter earnings results which showed an increased to net income and diluted EPS of 57 percent while revenue for the quarter increased 38.8 percent.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Taiwan Semiconductor to report fourth-quarter revenue of $26.28 billion. That’s up from $19.62 billion in last year's fourth quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro. The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in four straight quarters and five of the last 10 quarters overall.
