Aaron Rodgers has played his last game for the New York Jets, but will he continue his career elsewhere? The Jets recently announced their plans to split with Rodgers, who hasn't publicly confirmed whether he intends to play in 2025.

When the Jets' brass met with Aaron Rodgers, the future Hall of Fame quarterback apparently made an unsuccessful pitch to remain with the team.  Rodgers reportedly pleaded with the Jets to keep him, according to the New York Post.

It's significant that Rodgers seemed adamant of his desire to return to the Jets after a dismal 2024 season. His 28-touchdown, 11-interception year certainly doesn't look too bad, but in the contest of the team's struggles, he simply didn't do enough.
