Chappell Roan ‘s hit single “Good Luck, Babe!” has officially hit the one billion mark on Spotify. The singer shared the news on social media, noting that the song reaching that many streams was “cuckoo loco.” She added, “All I have to say is thank you ♡.”

“Good Luck, Babe!” is featured on Roan’s debut album, Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, which dropped in September 2023. The track, written in collaboration with Daniel Nigro and Justin Tranter, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned Roan her first No. 1 on Billboard ’s Pop Airplay chart in September 2024.

Franz Ferdinand will release their first album in seven years, The Human Fear, Jan. 10. They’ve dropped two singles from the album so far, “Audacious” and “Night or Day.” The album is the first to feature drummer Audrey Tait, who replaced original drummer Paul Thomson in 2021.
