By midmorning Friday, snow should turn to rain, flushing out the lowlands of any icy remains. Seattle was expected to have “really limited” accumulations of snow Thursday night and Friday morning, National Weather Service meteorologist Maddie Kristell said.

There is a chance of snow early Friday morning. However, by the time we get to the afternoon it should be mostly rain.

Moisture begins to tapper off as the low moves east. As skies clear a bit overnight, some patchy fog will develop overnight and temperatures will drop below freezing.

Gusty easterly winds will drive wind chills into the teens and even the single-digit temperatures in some Western Washington cities.

It will be dry and cool again on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies, but another chance of snow is right around the corner.

After tracking scattered snow on Sunday morning, there's still a possibility for on-and-off rain/snow showers in the region through at least Monday.
