Denzel Washington recently spilled on a same-sex kiss scene he filmed for “ Gladiator II ” that won’t make it to the big screen this month. “I actually kissed a man in the film, but they took it out, they cut it, I think they got chicken,” said the actor, who plays Macrinus in the “Gladiator” sequel, in an interview with Gayety’s Caitlynn McDaniel.

His seemingly unbothered attitude with regard to the British monarch didn't impact their later meeting. After his arrival, inside the theater, King Charles met the cast of Gladiator II, including Washington. "I didn’t know if I was supposed to grab your hand or not," the actor told the King as they met.

Gladiator 2 picks up the story of Ridley Scott’s Rome, providing plenty for fans of the original to enjoy but missing some of the majesty that made it a classic.
