Business owners are saying cheers to the new Pennsylvania law as these boozy products started hitting shelves at many stores on Monday.

People in Pennsylvania no longer have to go into a state liquor store to buy canned cocktails that have hard liquor in them.

Pennsylvania grocery stores, gas stations and beer distributors began stocking canned cocktails on Monday. The development comes two months after the Legislature repealed a provision that limited sales to state-owned liquor stores.

Pennsylvania, however, does not allow ballot processing to start until 7 a.m. on Election Day, when polls open. This is a major reason for the significant delays in counting ballots in the state. And it is a quirk that Trump and his allies exploited in 2020 to cast doubt on the results.

On Friday, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania vacated a case surrounding undated or misdated ballots. The majority ruled that the legal battle should involve all 67 boards of elections, not just Philadelphia and Allegheny counties.
