College football’s version of free agency begins en masse on Dec. 9, though plenty of players have already announced their intentions.

As various schools shift focus from the regular season, recruiters will look to build up their 2025 rosters through the transfer portal. That method of roster additions has proven successful for programs like SMU, which dominated in its first season as an ACC member.

Transfer portal departures are something that every team goes through, and the Michigan football team is bound to lose more players. S0 far, they haven't seen any major losses, but the regular season ended just a few days ago. Let's take a look at the three latest Wolverines that have decided to transfer.

Salter entered his name into the portal last winter before opting to return to Liberty. For his career, Salter has thrown for 5,887 yards and 56 touchdowns with 17 picks, while also rushing for 2,013 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground.

Kansas did however lose a player to the portal as well. Redshirt sophomore cornerback Brian Dilworth entered the transfer portal on Dec. 3. He is the first player to enter the portal from the Jayhawks this offseason. Dilworth was at Kansas for a total of three seasons but did not play in 2023. He recorded two total tackles in his time as a Jayhawk.
