John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan era isn’t over yet. TVLine has confirmed that Amazon MGM Studios is developing a Jack Ryan feature film, which will serve as an extension of the Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series that Krasinski led on Prime Video.

Jack Ryan first premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2018 and was renewed for a fourth and final season which aired in 2023. Krasinski starred as CIA analyst Jack Ryan who is taken out of the security of his desk job and thrown into the field after discovering a string of mysterious bank transfers that were carried out by a rising extremist.

The upcoming film will be helmed by season 2 director Andrew Bernstein, with a script from Aaron Rabin ( Nobody 2 ). Krasinski will also serve as a producer, coming hot off the heels of his family fantasy IF, and the continued success of his A Quiet Plac e franchise.
