Organisers of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay have announced that Scottish rockers Texas will make it a hat-trick when they headline the Concert in the Gardens on Tuesday, December 31.

The band will perform at the event on 31 December for the third time.

Texas will headline Edinburgh Hogmanay for the first time in close to 20 years, as they become the first act ever to do so three times.

The 'Say What You Want' hitmakers - who will become the first act to play the event three times - will be joined by fellow Scot Callum Beattie ahead of fireworks lighting up Edinburgh Castle at midnight (01.01.25) to ring in the New Year at Princes Street Gardens.

Edinburgh’s Hogmanay concert is set to be a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration with Texas as the headliners. The Scottish band, known for their iconic hits, will return to the world-famous event for the third time, having last performed there in 2005.

New Year’s Day events will be staged in several out-of-town locations Edinburgh’s Hogmanay festival is to expand outwith the city centre, run for an extra day and raise the capacity of its main street party – with Scottish rock and pop favourites Texas confirmed as headliners.
