Costco announced that it will switch from Pepsi to Coca-Cola products at its food courts "this summer" at an annual shareholder meeting Thursday.

Costco confirmed it will switch from Pepsi to Coca-Cola products at its food courts. The change was announced on Thursday, Jan. 23, during the warehouse retailer’s annual shareholders meeting. During the meeting, a shareholder asked Costco President and CEO Ron Vachris if the rumored switch was true, to which he replied, “Yes, that’s accurate.”

This week, Costco officially confirmed the rumor it was switching back to Coca-Cola products at its food court. The chain had offered Pepsi products as its drink choice for over a decade.

The announcement was made during a shareholder's meeting last week and the change will be implemented this summer.

Costco plans to shakeup its legendary $1.50 hot dog combo. In Thursday’s annual shareholder meeting, the beloved wholesale warehouse shared that it plans to update its legendary $1.50 hot dog combo meal with Coca-Cola after around 12 years of serving Pepsi.

Costco will begin stocking Coca-Cola products in the food courts of its warehouse stores beginning this summer, replacing the PepsiCo drinks sold since 2013.
