This year, for the first time, the Bigg Boss house, includes a non-human resident - a donkey living along with the other contestants.

PETA India has urged Salman Khan and Bigg Boss producers to exclude the donkey, Max, from the show, citing public distress. They argue that using animals as entertainment is harmful and inappropriate.
