ALICE GUO - The former Bamban, Mayor asserted at a House hearing that she is a Filipino and that she does not eat hopia.

The Department of Justice said that dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo could be considered a state witness if investigations into the illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator activities in her town lead to identifying a higher figure behind the scheme.

Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo was cited in contempt Thursday by the House of Representatives Quad Committee over her alleged refusal to answer lawmakers' questions truthfully.

Alice Guo attends the hearing of the "Quadcom," or the four House of Representatives committees, including the panels on dangerous drugs, public order and safety, human rights, and public account for the first time.
