DPS says a trooper clocked a driver at 100 mph on SR-347 before Christmas, citing him for criminal speed and reckless driving and impounding the car.
A 16-year-old shot in Gilbert on Dec. 13 has died. Charges against the suspect, Rael Sanchez, 21, have been changed to first-degree murder.
