The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is reminding Wisconsinites where they can harvest a holiday tree this year from northern state forests.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is offering people an affordable way to get a Christmas tree. Trees can be cut down in the Brule River, Flambeau River, Governor Earl Peshtigo River, Governor Knowles and Northern Highland-American Legion state forests.
