The Los Angeles Rams had a three-game win streak snapped in last week's loss to Miami. The Rams failed to score a touchdown for only the eighth time in coach Sean McVay's eight seasons, and couldn't score an offensive touchdown for only the second time in four years when quarterback Matthew Stafford was in uniform.

Matthew Stafford hasn't played at New England since 2014 when he was with the Detroit Lions. On Sunday he'll lead the Los Angeles Rams against a rebuilding Patriots team.

New England Patriots burgeoning star defensive tackle Christian Barmore returned to practice for the first time this season on Thursday. It was the first time Barmore has practiced since being diagnosed with blood clots and sidelined indefinitely in the summer.
