Drake has escalated his dispute with fellow rap superstar Kendrick Lamar, filing a pair of court notices warning of legal action against major music companies for what Drake called manipulative promotion of Lamar's megahit "Not Like Us.

For the second straight day, Drake has taken legal action against Universal Music Group, this time in Texas, over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Drake claimed in a court filing that Universal Music Group conspired to “artificially inflate” Kendrick Lamar’s summer hit “Not Like Us” on Spotify by using bots, payola and other tactics. NBC News’ Chloe Melas details the feud between the artists.
