Tilak Varma was the star for India in the third T20I against South Africa as they won the match by 11 runs. The elegant left-hander became the 12th Indian player to score a century in the shortest format.

Not only did he create history against South Africa, but Varma also became the  second youngest Indian to score a T20I century, behind Yashasvi Jaiswal (21 years, 279 days), who achieved the feat during the 2023 Asian Games.

Tilak Varma came to the crease with India rooted at 0 for 1 as Sanju Samson got dismissed for another duck. Varma took control of the proceeding from the start and looked in ominous touch from the get-go.
