A man threw a ‘liquid’ which the Delhi Police said was water, on former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal during his ‘padyatra’ in South Delhi

Arvind Kejriwal was greeting people standing behind a cordon when a man approached him and splashed some liquid on him, following which the security personnel swiftly overpowered him.

After Aam Aadmi Party national convenor was attacked during his 'padyatra' campaign, Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Saturday alleged that the man held for attacking Kejriwal wanted to "burn him alive" after throwing spirit on him.

Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was allegedly attacked during a padyatra in Delhi. A man tried to throw an unidentified liquid on him but was held by security. Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj criticized the BJP,

Atishi said, "The man who attacked Arvind Kejriwal today is a BJP goon." She also shared the pic of his membership form or card in which it is mentioned that the victim's name is Ashok Kumar Jha who is a resident of Delhi and also his contact number is mentioned in the pic.

The BJP criticised the AAP following an alleged attack on former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during his padyatra in Delhi. While the BJP claimed the accused was an AAP worker staging a political drama,

As per the police, the AAP Chief was shaking hands with the public when a person namely Ashok Jha attempted to throw "water" on Arvind Kejriwal, but he was immediately caught as the police staff was nearby along with ropes.

Senior Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Saturday alleged that the man who splashed liquid at party chief Arvind Kejriwal during his foot march in one of the South Delhi's colonies, is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Visuals showed that a man approached the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor when he was acknowledging the crowd and hurled a liquid at him, which was supposedly water, sources said.

In a security scare, a man was detained for allegedly splashing some liquid on AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal during his 'padyatra' in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar on Saturday, police said.
