iOS 18 was released on September 16, just in time for the iPhone 16’s on-sale date of September 20. If you want to get the update as soon as possible, you may need to manually check for an update on your iPhone.

Although the beta version of the iOS 18 has been available for developers and public testers for a while, the majority of iPhone users avoid them due to the bugs and vulnerabilities.
