Wendy Williams' Legal Guardian Provides Health Update With Lawsuit Filing. After months of relative silence that followed the initial flurry of reports and family member reactions

Morrissey has been pursuing legal action against A&E Television Networks, Lifetime Entertainment Services and others involved in the release of "Where is Wendy Williams?," a docuseries on Williams' abrupt exit from public life released in February.

In the complaint, Morrissey says that the contracts Williams may have signed, including an “on-camera talent agreement,” are invalid because they were not shared with her guardian. The filming for the documentary began in August 2022 and ended in April 2023 — one month before Williams’s initial diagnosis.
