BALTIMORE -- The cold air that has plagued the region for the past several days will persist through the rest of the week. In fact, temperatures are set to drop further as an arctic front is expected to track into the area Thursday morning, potentially bringing the coldest air of the season by the weekend.

Cold air is firmly in place across Pennsylvania. While we do expect this to continue through the weekend, we’ll be tracking snow showers as well. A few flurries and snow showers will be here Monday night.

Monday morning we’ll be waking up to temps in the teens and wind chills in the 20s. Untreated roads early on will be cold enough for patchy black ice while our main roads and those treated with fair well.
