The fatal shooting Wednesday morning is the second at a Northeast Portland motel in two weeks. Two men have been killed in separate shootings in the parking lot of the Quality Inn motel near the 8200 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

According to Portland police, officers responded to the 8200 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard shortly after 5 a.m. where they found a man dead at the scene. Any suspects fled the scene before officers arrived,
