The Buffalo Sabres Quarter-Century Teams have been unveiled, consisting of 12 players who represented the organization from 2000 to 2025.

Myers was named to the Sabres second team, which also featured former Canucks forward Derek Roy. Traded to Vancouver in 2012, Roy played 12 games for the Canucks, recording three goals and six points. Roy also played four games for Vancouver during the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs but failed to register a point.

The Carolina Hurricanes will head north to Buffalo for a Wednesday night game against the Sabres. The matchup Wednesday is the season’s first meeting between the two teams.

The Hurricanes continue to dazzle from an analytical standpoint, even if the results haven't been there on the scoreboard lately. However, the Sabres will give Carolina a great chance to grab a W on Wednesday night.
