The 5-5 Denver Broncos are set to face off against a particularly beat-up 36-year-old quarterback when they host the 6-4 Atlanta Falcons at Empower Field on Sunday. Per the Falcons, QB Kirk Cousins was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report — the team conducted a walkthrough — due to right (throwing) shoulder and elbow injuries.

Cousins is roughly a year removed from an Achilles surgery and has started to move better in recent weeks. The team has won five of its last six games since starting 1-2 and Cousins’ legs are a big reason for that.

The Atlanta Falcons gave their first injury report of the week before Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, and the list included quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Allgeier was among the nine other players limited due to a quadriceps injury. Defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham, cornerback Dee Alford, tight end Charlie Woerner were among the five players to not participate.

The Falcons fell to the Saints in Week 10, and it was capped off by a Kirk Cousins‘ fourth-down pass that was well short of the sticks. It was the cherry on top of a disappointing loss that will be remembered for all of the missed opportunities.
