The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade marched, soared and roared into its second century on Thursday despite rain and protestors.

Dozens of pro-Palestine protesters were arrested Thursday after blocking the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the New York City Police Department said.

There will be six new featured character balloons, including Minnie Mouse, “Extraordinary Noorah” with The Elf on the Shelf, Gabby from “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” Goku from ”Dragon Ball," Marshall from "Paw Patrol" and a new “Spider-Man.”

Here's a look at the fan favorite floats making their return to Manhattan's Upper West Side. Sesame Street's float is making its 48th appearance in the parade, with the show's classic muppet characters.
