Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has confirmed she will leave the US telecoms regulator in January. In an announcement, Rosenworcel said she will depart on January 20, 2025, the same date that Donald Trump is set to begin his second term as US President.

Federal Communications Commission chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel will step down from the agency next year, with her fellow commissioner Brendan Carr set to become chairman when Donald Trump is sworn into office.
