German leaders raised the possibility that a fiery cargo plane crash in Lithuania on Monday was the result of sabotage or hybrid warfare.

One person died in the incident, which came months after people alleged to have been working for Russian intelligence services used the company to ship incendiary devices.

A DHL cargo plane crashed as it came in to land at Lithuania's Vilnius airport early on Monday morning, killing one person in the aircraft and flinging debris that damaged a house which was later evacuated.
