Whale, that’s something you don’t see every day. A humpback made a shocking splash beneath the Brooklyn Bridge Monday — marking the species’ first visit to the East River in two years.

“There were a few trips where it would just be tail throwing — when it throws its entire back body out of the water,” said Chris St. Lawrence of the south Brooklyn research center, Gotham Whale.
