A Barrington man suspected of killing north suburban endocrinologist Olga Duchon was ordered detained Wednesday after prosecutors alleged he lured her to his home and fatally shot her in front of their daughter.

William R. Zientek, 46, is charged with first-degree murder in the slaying Sunday of endocrinologist Olga Duchon in the 400 block of West Russell Street. Zientek is being held at Cook County Jail. Authorities say the pair were the parents of a 3-year-old child.
