Why doesn’t CHP use spike strips during traffic stops, wouldn’t they keep drivers from fleeing?Wrong-way collisions on freeways are rare and comprise less than 1% of all collisions between 2014 and 2019, according to ... every vehicle on every traffic stop. It’s just not feasible.
