For the Pittsburgh Steelers, the new and improved offense of 2024 was only new but not improved at all. So as we approach this updated seven-round mock draft, the focus is to once again work to reload on offense we expect the Steelers to re-sign quarterback Justin Fields but that didn’t stop us from picking them up another young player.

Pro Football Focus is putting out a series of seven-round mock drafts for all 32 NFL teams. We decided to take a look at the Steelers edition and while we see where they were going with the picks, there was so much more that could have been done with the choices.

At 6-4 and 229 pounds, Wright brings impressive measurables to the secondary. He had six interceptions, 20 passes defensed and 179 tackles during his five-year college career. At this point in the draft, the Steelers would be looking for body types to use on special teams and developmental pieces for the future.
