The giveaway is a good gesture from the Lakers organization after the blockbuster trade. It also lessens the sting of the cost of admission to tonight's contest against the Jazz.

In exchange for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a 2029 first-round pick, the Lakers acquired Luka Dončić, Maxi Kleber, and Markieff Morris from the Dallas Mavericks.
