Four to six feet of snow is expected in parts of upstate New York this weekend, creating potentially dangerous driving conditions. Forecasters predict that areas east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are likely to be hit the hardest, with the possibility that two to four inches of snow will fall per hour beginning Friday afternoon.

As our winds shift to a west to south west direction, lake effect snow streamers will extend off of Lake Ontario and traverse through the North Country, reaching to the spine of the Green Mountains and beyond!
