WEDNESDAY Early Thanksgiving travel Wednesday will feature a mixed bag. The morning should start quiet with highs near 40°. In the afternoon, a weaker shortwave system sets up along the state line and looks to bring some rain / snow mix into Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service says Michigan's Lower Peninsula could see a snowy Thanksgiving weekend as temperatures fall to more seasonal highs. Snow likely won't start in southern Michigan until Thanksgiving day, but the Upper Peninsula could see snow accumulations starting Sunday night into Monday, the weather service said.
